Modelling and Data Analyics

RESEARCH DOMAIN/CLUSTER

Modelling is a mechanism representing a process or event to form a mathematical formula or framework. Mainly, there are two modelling methods applied, i.e., mathematical and computerized methods. Thus, the effectiveness of mathematics and the efficiency of computer handling are two essences in achieving contemporary thinking beyond ages, hence pursuing the technology drive for effective data processing and storage.

Data analytics is a new science ecosystem where it involves multiple disciplines. Data analytics research is reaching its peak with 80% of the total data for the past three years.

Introduction to four domains: There are four domains of expertise under SIG to fulfil the objectives: Scientific Computing, Machine Learning & Statistics, Theory of Uncertainty, and Graph Theory & Topology.
